i got into a not so nice conversation at the yogurt store the other day. hubby and i were talking with the owner about the economy. i don't remember how it happened but the guy says "i don't understand why the guy threw his shoes at bush. our troops are there risking their lives to protect these people". i i answered. "we invaded the man's country, killed some of his relatives, tore apart his country". the man mentioned that he knew people who were serving in the military. i told him that i do too and that i fully support our troops.
some people just don't get it.
