did a big shop today for Christmas dinner - still more to do.

Will use the "hunker down" time to finish wrapping etc. etc. in hopes that there is at least one more shopping day before Xmas to finish the last - fresh pear, arugula and MORE WINE.

Should be a gala day - hope the family makes it here to enjoy the beef tenderloin,, cognac peppercorn cream sauce, pear and gorgonzola and arugula salad, wild rice with sage and cranberries, , and chocolate rum cake with nuts and ice cream -- and WINE.

My spare $5 bills are diminishing rapidly for the teens who do the rest of what the drive guy cannot reach.

They will have a very Merry Christmas -- and I hope all of DU will as well.
