prosecutions now. Because LBJ would not say this in public,Nixon and his gang went on to win the election. Reagan then used a similar gambit to beat Carter in the 1980 election. And then of course we did not really prosecute the Iran/Contra crimes because again, the country needed healing. Which in turn lead to the growing power of the rw noise machine and that takes us to ****.

Look at the crimes that have been committed by this bunch. If earlier crimes of Nixon or Reagan had been prosecuted, maybe these guys would not have felt so bold to commit all of the different crimes that they have in the last eight years.

But more importantly, this time the whole world really knows that this regime committed war crimes and unless we prosecute them, I believe that others will. I think the result of that will be that the world will think badly of us for not having the courage to face the crimes that have been committed in our name.
