Son of Stagecoach tycoon admits assault
Scotland Staff

The son of Brian Souter, the Stagecoach tycoon, chased a man from a party and assaulted him after claiming that he had been taunted about his multi-millionaire father.

Scott Souter, 18, rounded up his friends and got them to chase a car along a country road before launching the attack.

After he was arrested, Souter claimed to police that he had lashed out at Mr Johnston because he had been mocked during a party about his surname and his famous father.
