3. Ed Rendell refreshing pragmatist
Edited on Mon Apr-26-10 12:56 PM by willing dwarf
I get the feeling he's pretty bored these days with the provincial attitudes of PA politics, where all politics is local politics. He's really has a way of calling a spade a spade, and not personalizing things. I've never imagined Rendell would do well in DC, since he's such a home town sweet heart, but I'll tell you, a guy who wants to get things done, enjoys power because of what can be done with it, and isn't all about making himself into the idealogical center of the universe is so refreshing!

Having watched Ed Rendell grow into every job he's taken, I have to say he's still a breath of fresh air on the political scene. I wonder where he's headed at the end of his governership? Wherever it is, I say: Go Ed!!
