17. I suspect the DoD has already shown some displeasure.....
Since the person in his chain of command who read him his Article 31 rights was Col. Gordon R. Roberts, a military social worker and Brigade Commander for Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

And ALSO the youngest person in the Vietnam War to be awarded a Medal of Honor, and the ONLY MoH holder serving on active duty right now.

The fact that Lakin was warned and then read his rights by an MoH holder speaks volumes about just how the military looks at LCol. Lakin right now.
