that one of the many, MANY reasons that Obama was just so terribly ineffective was he "resurrected the GOP." Anyone remember seeing that? Posters here were claiming that the GOP was on its death bed but because Obama was just so terribly horrible, he had somehow brought the GOP back from the dead.

I thought it was utter rubbish then and it is thoroughly laughable in its stupidity now. Like you said, all that's happened is that the Tea Party idiots that were swept in because voters were so aghast (!!!) at the perceived uber-liberalness of the Dem party have been shown to be incompetent, ineffective idiots. And the Repub nominees for president are even more so.
