For a time, my ex - with whom I remain on reasonably good terms - used our mailing address (my second husband and I) when he was living outside the USA. Lo and behold, one day we received a pre-approved credit card for an individual with HIS first name and the last name of my second husband.
That individual didn't even exist and he had a better credit rating than I did.
