That is not true now, if it ever was. Bush and Cheney got away with war crimes. And do you really think either 2000 or 2004 is ever going to come back to bite the Republicans? No. And it's not just IOKIYAR. Obama has continued far too many of Bush's illegal policies. Guantanamo Bay is still open, for Godwin's sake! We're still doing extraordinary renditions. Almost everyone with balls, connections, and cash is above the law.
