Does Bush realise he has zero respect outside the US?
And more to the point, how is it that about 50% of the American population think he's great?

I don't understand. I really don't.

Many leaders put on the illusion of respect for Bush, but it seems that it's really just respect for the position of President of the United States. Most would probably laugh in his face if it weren't for his job title.

1. Bu**sh** has no respect
for anyone else, except his 12 or 14 billionaire buddies, so why should anyone have respect for him. He certainly has not earned ANY respect from ANYONE!!

4. You dont understand how republicans think
They applaud Bush for giving the UN the finger. They're probably angry Bush asked the UN, France, and Germany for help.

7. Whether * or his supporters care or not
is a separate issue. The point is not many people like him, and I'm sure everybody, including *, prefers to be liked to disliked.

6. Badge of honor
Foreign dislike is a badge of honor for Buxh and his crowd. They have the deepest contempt for anyone, especially foreigners, who don't agree with them 100%.

16. most of that 50% would site your comment as a big reason
seeing your union jack tends to make me think you're British. Fact is most Americans would prefer fear over respect from most of the world (Great Britan being an exception). They don't much respect them so why would they care if they respected us ?

Mock loudly and carry the biggest stick.

19. No he doesn't know what scorn the rest of the world holds
for him. I'm sure that the only news station on at the White House is Faux News. We already know that Rove sends a memo to Faux telling them what to say. So everytime he goes into a room with a television on all he hears is "this very popular President". I think this is why he threw a hissy when he was confronted by protesters in the real world.
