DU Kremlinologists: What's Boris Yeltsin up to these days?
I was lucky enough to be in Moscow several weeks after he stood on the tank outside the White House - the debris from the barricades was still there when I visited. Anywhoo, what has he been up to since he retired? Does he have any influence at all in the Kremlin these days or has he been relegated to a life of drinking vodka at his datcha? Unlike Gorbachev, who is president of Green Cross International, Yeltsin seems to be keeping a low profile...

He earned it.

His exploits nearly killed him in fact.

No doubt he calls Putin now and again, but otherwise relaxation at the dacha no doubt.

His books are good btw.
