Kerry now outpolls colleagues - and Bush - in Pa.

In a dramatic two-month turnaround, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry not only has outpolled other Democratic presidential candidates in Pennsylvania, but also has moved ahead of President Bush in this swing state.

The head-to-head poll released yesterday by Connecticut-based Quinnipiac University Polling Institute showed Kerry leading Bush among Pennsylvania voters 50 percent to 45 percent, bolstered by large support in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Voters gave Bush his lowest approval rating, at 43 percent - down from 53 percent in December - amid growing concerns among Pennsylvania voters about the sluggish economy.

It's only February. Stay firm, don't jump up and down too early, because the 200 million onslaught has yet to be launched.

5. Yep. The chimp hasn't even started to campaign yet except for his

failing photo-ops. The only thing we can hope for is continued bad press about the chimps policies. They have been on the defensive for couple of months now. Let's hope that continues. If Kerry plays his cards right, he can keep them on the defensive with jobs and Iraq.

9. Hasn't started to campaign?

First term Presidents never truly stop campaigning. And really, what is the potential for a guy the public already knows everything about? No, Bush can't do much more than he already has to generate support for himself. He's already been on the news every day for the last 4 years. We've seen him, heard him speak, experienced his policies.

The only good campaigning will do is if he's going to cut his opponent down to size. That means plenty of attacks on our candidate, which have already started coming. So long as our candidate (which is likely Kerry) can withstand that, things look really good.

Of course, Osama could pop out of a cave on November 1st or a terrorist attack could occur the Monday before the election "coincidentally".

8. Bush has been in PA how many times, so has Cheney

It doesn't matter if they move to this state, people in the steel industry are pissed. The manufacturing jobs are leaving big time. My state, PA will be blue in November, I have no doubt about it.
