Kostunica to form Serb government
After weeks of doubt Mr Kostunica
is set to become prime ministerFormer Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica has secured enough support to form a new Serbian government.
But he will have to rely on the votes of the Socialist party - officially led by Slobodan Milosevic.
He has failed to bring together a majority coalition, but the Socialists have agreed to back his government when it comes up for parliamentary approval.
He is thus set to become prime minister after nearly eight weeks of uncertainty following December's elections.
The Socialists will not take an active part in the new cabinet that Mr Kostunica has been asked to form - which means they can choose to vote against it.
