National Debt Tops $7 TRILLION
THANKS BUSH. WHAT THE HELL?! I want everyone to stop whatever you are doing, and just ponder this: 7 TRILLION DOLLARS. Also, remember a little more than just THREE years ago, the words "NATIONAL BUDGET DEBT" were but a DISTANT MEMORY? Can you believe this bullshmit? Is it any wonder why the economy is COMATIC? Is it any wonder why there are NO JOBS? (The fact that a million or 2 got "outsourced" to India is beside the point.) Is it any wonder why the US dollar isn't worth a pile of turd against the Euro? And how in the HELL did these morons who are of the "party of fiscal responsiblity" (yeah, my ass!) some how manage to rack up $7 BILLION in debts?!?!?! Could it be...TAX CUTS TO THE UBER RICH? An illegal war for oil? I swear, anyone who votes for "President" Bushitler in November, you must be smoking crack laced with heroin and PCP AND huffing bug spray and floor cleaner.

National Debt Tops $7 Trillion

Feb 18, 6:11 PM (ET)

By Jonathan Nicholson

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government's national debt -- the accumulation of past budget shortfalls -- totaled more than $7 trillion for the first time as of Tuesday, according to a Treasury Department report.

In its daily financial statement released on Wednesday, the Treasury said the U.S. debt subject to a congressionally set limit totaled $7.015 trillion, up from $6.983 trillion on Friday. The government was closed on Monday for the Presidents Day holiday.

While passing the $7 trillion mark itself has little practical significance, not unlike a car's odometer rolling over, it may signal some tough political times for President Bush's administration on fiscal policy.

The government debt ceiling stands only a few hundred billion dollars ahead at $7.384 trillion, and Treasury would need Congress's blessing to borrow beyond that. Treasury officials say they expect the limit to be hit sometime between June and October.

4. The Pubs have outsmarted themselves.
The dollar is heading for Toastville. Only the very rich will come out on top, they being able to buy up things on the cheap while we low lifes suffer ad nauseum.

But, in the long term, lies will be realized and the Pubs voted out as they should be,
