I hardly think it was a "minor" story and the "major" news stories would not even have had a platform had we not invaded France and knocked Hitler all the way back to his rightful place--hell.

Remembering our WWII veterans is important and respectful for they actually FOUGHT for something--something that was right!

And by the way, the Bush gang is far from busted. Why do you think they have all this Reagan coverage? It gives Bush time to regroup from his scandalous war, so he can continue to project more lies on us. NO, they are far from being busted--legally that is.

We all know that the American fascists who make up the neo-base of the rethuglican party wanted to rid the world of communists, and in their minds Ronald Wilson Reagan took a major step in that direction. The neo-con point of view is screw WWII veterans and all other veterans for that matter, who let communism rule in the world for 75 years (1917 to 1992). Reagan started the new world order revolution that establishes U.S. domination and fascist political ideals over the entire world. Neo-cons won't be happy until all of these news clips from 1944 show U.S. troops smiling and shaking hands with Nazi troops. The poster child of right wing America will be a superimposed picture of Rush Limbaugh standing next to Joseph Goebbels.
