According to the news story this guy regularly posts hilarious anti-Bush slogans on his marquee so he's no sniveling cowering SISSY like the idiot pretender who just punished the Irish reporter for making him look like the retard he is.

Still, support can't hurt. The contact info they posted is

Yeah, everyone who goes to see F911 is feeling themselves up while watching it.

Not.

3. My theory on how the "R" rating came to be
It couldn't have been the violent images of war, because most of them, including the charred corpses from Fallujah, have already been shown on the 6:00 news.

I'm guessing that the MPAA took advantage of the Mikey Powell neopuritanical fascism and issued the "R" rating on the basis of language. And all it took for them to technically be able to do so was the inclusion of the "pumps us up for killing" music with the lyrics Burn motherfucker burn.

Pathetic yes, but standard practice these days for the Bush Criminal Empire and the corporate whores who serve them.

7. I heard it was due to the beheading scene
If that is true, that is really weak. You can barely see the image in the film.

12. How would giving movies R ratings have anything to do with
'corporate whores'? Fahrenheit 911 isn't the only movie thats had this problem you know. Studios/Media Corps are always getting into fights with the MPAA over ratings, since they feel it cuts into profits. The reason for the MPAA being tough on movies and giving them higher ratings is the atmosphere set by the government/politicians; the job of the MPAA is to keep the govt from censoring movies. Thats why we have a ratings system. Don't always knee jerk and blame 'coprorations' about everything. The problem here is big govt, not big business.

4. with freeper parents like these...who needs enemies...
My neighbor told me his 17 year old son went to see it against his wishes and came back refusing to join the Army until "We get out of Iraq."

They had already agreed that he was going to join because it was his duty and that it was the only way he could afford a college education down the road. Now my friend is about to kick his son out because if he's old enough to make decisions like this, he's old enough to support himself.

Way to go, MM. You are destroying families now. Are you happy?

Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 01:18 PM by AussieInCA
would still feel the same way if the government didn't pay for their sons college education?

Hey freepersfamily1034032, sell some of your crap to pay for your kids education rather than decide for them to go put their life on the line for a BS war.

First of all, this guy calls himself AynRandMan - meaning I presume that he is a Libertarian and thus is philosphically opposed to ANY form of censorship or coercion being used against this theatre ownwer. After all, if people don't like him they don't have to give him their business. But here he is posting on this thread.

Now check out the actual text of the post - if this isn't classic projection, I don't know what is!

Ignoring the INSANITY of a parent kicking his son out because the son refuses to go fight in a war, notice that the poster, AynRandMan actually blames Moore, for this parent's INSANITY.

Apperently it is Moore's fault that this parent is kicking out his son, NOT the parent's for wanting to kick him out!

Talk about your all round absolute fuck knuckle!

AynRandMan, if you're reading this, YOU ARE A DICKHEAD!

13. The funniest thing about his name
Is that Ayn Rand would have nothing to do with Bush's Republican Party.

Rand was an avowed atheist and would have wanted nothing to do with the crypto christian radicals of the GOP.
