The man gave me the creeps--especially when they were putting makeup on and he was sitting there with his eyes rolling around in his empty head. His eyes were the most remarkable thing--something between pure evil and black holes into nothingness.

I thought he was doing a routine press conference but then when the cameras rolled and it was March 19, 2003 and he was declaring war, I was floored. That day will live on in my memory forever. To see how out of touch he was at that time only makes it worse. I hated that day and the days of "shock and awe" that followed.
