I don't remember hearing "I'd lvoe to change the world" by Ten Years After, which is in the commercials, but here's what I remember hearing..
The final credits were accompanied by "Rockin in the Free World" by Neal Young.
"Vacation" The GoGos "Cocaine" Clapton "Believe it or not (I'm walking on air)" to the "Mission Accomplished" footage. This was, of course, the theme song to a short-lived sitcom from the early 80's about a caped superhero, "The Greatest American Hero".
You will also be treated to John Ashcroft personally singing his song, "Let the Eagle Soar".
There's also an interesting scene of tank crews talking about how you can put thrash metal in the tank's CD player, listen to it on your headsets during battle, and it makes you all nice and revved up to kill. First the soldier sings the Bloodhound Gang's song (I can't remember the name, but it's the one that goes "The Roof is on fire, we don't need no water, let the mother burn, burn mother fucker burn"). Then you hear the real song with nice footage of burning people and stuff. From what I've heard from veterans from the two gulf wars, that's what the modern battlefield sounds like for American soldiers.
