I saw a great movie that enlightened me about some very important things in our country. It was a work of art, besides being a well-researched op-ed piece. I'm excited and moved by it. And NO one is going to rain on my parade.

If there's one fact that's wrong (and I don't know of any), who the heck cares? There are a million facts in the movie, and even if one doesn't agree with them, the sheer emotion impact of war, as presented in this movie, left me stunned.

there are a lot of people who come here SOLELY for the purpose of trying to discredit things like Farenheit 9/11. Don't assume that they hold the same general point of view as you. DU is a significant left-leaning sounding board on the net and influencing the conventional wisdom here is not to be sniffed at. Why else do you think they try to do it?

no one should see F-9/11 or the movie should not be shown, ten more people will want to see it. Tell people they shouldn't see something and look what happens. So, in that sense, I think all the folks dissing the movie are doing a great service. Keep it up!!! All this free publicity is wonderful.

15. F911 is an incredible movie

I've seen it twice and I'll be owning it as soon as it's on DVD.

The only thing I wish Moore would have done was ask on camera any Democratic senator why they didn't sign with the Black Caucus. I don't know about you, but I think our senators have a lot of explaining to do. I know hind sight is 20/20 and all, but come the hell on! A full state recount really wasn't all that much to ask.

My husband thought it would have had more impact to show the clip of the Iraqi woman mourning her dead family members (5 of them!!!) right after we see Lila mourn her son. I agree, showing them back to back would have explained the comparison to the idiotic freepers who snuck into the theaters to see it. Then again, I guess making a documentary with the concern of what freepers can understand would make for a crappy and sloooooow documentary.

I only saw one guy dissing it in the lounge last night and yes...he seemed to be wanting attention. I think we should just let those threads sink.

I loved the movie and thought it was equal parts sad, funny, inspiring, and infuriating...and I've never had so many emotions during one film. I even had one emotion I didn't expect: I felt kind of *sorry* for dubya during the make-up scene and the classroom scene. It was weird...like watching an incredibly stupid person with a huge responsibility - that kind of pity.
