Georgia: Gov. suspends gasoline taxes, gas stations maintain high prices

So in a poorly-thought-out effort to ease the economic burden on Georgia's citizens, the governor chose to waive all gasoline taxes beginning on Friday night. Not surprisingly, none of the savings are being passed to the consumer. Gas stations are simply swallowing up the would-be tax money as profits. Is this kind of thing happening anywhere else?

big oil is looting the american workers wallets.. the gas tax is nothing but a miniscule drop in a bucket compared to the profit they are making off of our suffering.

4. In the past Michigan's governor

has pressed charges against stations, I know others have too.

Honestly I don't know if the laws are local...but if so Georgia better pass a law against that pronto.

Are these stations now having to pay that much more to get the gas or is it just profiteering?
