Twists and turns that I don't even know if it's possible to follow. Novak was a quasi war critic, then played the dupe (IMO) in the WH's political espionage concerning the CIA agent. Talking to some journalism students, he gets in a pretty good dig at Jr (which makes sense if he was a dupe)
