Start taking it the moment the tingling starts and the cold sore will not ever show up.
My cousin came into NY from Johannesburg with her mouth covered in cold sores. I gave her the lysine and they cleared right up. She still takes it when the tingling starts and no more cold sores.

go to bed and get some probably much needed rest? One gets cold sores when their resistance is down. Go to bed!
Or maybe stay up and post on DU till you get 1000 posts. Then go to Bed!
