When I saw the hole in the roof of the Superdome on TV today...

I noticed something when I saw the inside. What I noticed was empty seats and no pro football being played. Kind of feels like every home game that the Saints play:yoiks:.

1. What I thought when I saw pictures of the people inside

and the holes in the roof, was that those people would likely never be able to afford a ticket to an NFL game.

This is probably the first time most of them ever saw the inside of that place.

3. When I heard that they were using the Superdome as a shelter

I has visions of the roof ripping off. I was flipping through every station, so I'm not sure at this point who it was, but one reporter said that it was built to withstand 200 mph winds, but then again, the WTC was supposed to be able to withstand a direct hit from a plane.

I'm glad that the damage wasn't any worse than it was. The rest of New Orleans is a mess.
