Maddy is in the same general area in my family. I have information on that area. If she is in Franklinton or Folsom she's probably OK. If she's in Covington or Bogalusa I might be a little more worried.

Also, if she is near some of my relatives I can ask someone to check on her. I have people all around that area.

she said she'd be 90 miles north of NOLA, and 60 miles north of the lake, and Covington looks to be under 15 miles to the lake

I would expect that it would be exactly like she predicted; no power, no phone, siege conditions. Hopefully they have water; everything else is survivable.

7. Ok, I got a PM.

Based on where she is and what I am hearing from the ground, Maddy is probably OK. I know that's not a lot of reassurance but she is farther west than my family (the strength of the hurricane is weaker there) and all of my family pulled through OK and their houses are mostly OK.
