How do you eat corn?

And I know this is strange, but I use my teeth to pull the whole kernel out of the cob, rather than biting in the kernel. (Then I chew it of course.) But it leaves the cob really stripped bare instead of woolly like most people leave it.

Seriously. Been doing it since I was a kid.

You dig the fork tines in between the kernels and pry them loose.

Works pretty good once you get the hang of it... the kernels don't get stuck in your teeth and corn juice doesn't ejaculate in your face, eyes, etc like they would if you bit directly into the cob.

19. How come they call corn on the cob instead of just 'corn'?

After all, that's how it grows. If anything, they should call the stuff in a can 'corn off the cob'. If I had my arm chopped off you might call me 'Merrick', but if it were reattached it be a bit odd to call me 'Merrick all together again'.
