When I got home tonight, I dropped my cell phone, it bounced off

of my tennis shoe and straight into the dog's water bowl. It was completely submerged, but I immediately grabbed it and a towel and tried to dry it. Turned it off, dried it out and it seemed fine. Didn't even seem wet inside. Powers up great, nothing noticably wrong until I dial. It dials and rings normally, but there is a beep so that I can't hear (actually sounds more like baleep, baleep, baleep).

What the hell? I think they make these so that if they get the slightest bit wet they just melt so you have to spend $300 on a new one.
