At the con I was at this weekend, one of the vendors had ties, scarves and stuff in house colors.

They're on the list of things I'll eventually buy, along with several plushies and some t-shirts.

And one of them I'm retiring. I have a new one that's halfway done, but I got sick and stressed at the end of the week and it got left unfinished until the spring cons.


I wonder if I'll have enough black fabric left over for a Hogwarts school uniform ^^

The costume I'm working on now is modified from a cloak pattern.

I feel like I'm drowning in fabric when I put it on to pin the sides.

I might look into buying one. Trying to finish costumes with a deadline makes my stress go crazy.

Of course, that does lead to the wonderful feeling when you find a book you haven't read in a while and suddenly it's like you're reading it for the first time all over again. :D

25. When I moved down here I seriously considered bringing ALL my books

but I settled for, like, 5 boxes, because all 20 boxes just wouldn't leave any room in the car for shit like clothes.

Harry Potter was in one of the 5 boxes though, for sure. :D

but the turn of events at the end, really took me by surprise....I think he has turned bad for good...although, it would be a SUPER great trick to have him/DD in cahoots about it, so he can get closer to Voldemort/his trust.
