So, what was your favorite Christmas gift this year?
My 6-yr-old niece gave me a SpongeBob gift set: two mugs, and packets of hot chocolate. :)

And you?

1. One month sitting at the right hand of Jesus Christ himself, judging the dead.
Don't die in April, that's all I'm saying about that.

7. If I recall correctly,
doesn't he also judge the living? Or do you prefer "the quick"?

How nice to finally see you in here!

I was getting ready to send out a search party, really!

My favorite gift? A styling brush and blow dryer for my new longer hair!

I decided it was time for a softer, more feminine look.......

My husband loves it! :bounce: :bounce:

He did say something about my being able to sit on it....

Nope, that's not going to happen!

But where it will end up is anyone's guess.....I'm just letting it grow!

Eventually, my hairdresser and I will discuss just where it should be...

Glad you approve!

15. A Christmas invitation
Edited on Tue Jan-09-07 12:36 AM by u4ic
it wasn't meant to be a present, but to me it was a very special gift. A Christmas vacation to the mountains in BC (edit: for 5 days) with a couple of wonderful friends, and their family.

The best Christmas I've ever had.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, Rev! :hi:

32. that is so sweet...I got something similar...
my 1 year old nephew looked up at me at breakfast on christmas morning and said "Aunt Barbara" for the first time. :)

My 7 year old nephew drew me a picture of him with the cast of Star Wars. :) Then proceeded to beat me and his dad at Star Wars trivial pursuit.

My SIL gave me 20bf of some "exotic" hardwoods- purpleheart,
bubinga, lacewood.
As long as I limit myself to small projects, that stuff
should keep me busy all year.

36. Watching our granddaughter's faces when Santa showed up
and then watching them looking for Santa's sleigh and Reindeer to leave.

At our Christmas gathering, DH always has to take a nap after we eat. Then suddenly Santa appears. Our oldest granddaughter's 7 and really questioned us this year..why is Grandpa always napping when Santa arrives? Even if she's realized Grandpa is Santa, she didn't spoil it for our 3 yr old granddaughter. Her eyes still lit up as much as ever.

This year we added a new twist..we let the girls go wake up Grandpa after Santa left. Since Grandpa has the ability to sleep at the drop of a hat, it was no surprise that he didn't have to fake sleep!
