The Diary of Anne Frank, Complete and Unabridged. (Hardback, on sale for $4.99!)
The Great Deluge, by Douglas Brinkley. (About Hurricane Katrina.)
Come Hell or High Water, by Michael Eric Dyson. (Also about Hurricane Katrina.)

Add those two the two books by Barack Obama I got for Christmas, and I am in new book HEAVEN!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

1. I went to Borders today, too.

Didn't buy any books, but returned a Christmas gift.

Then I realized that Borders was having a "Buy Three, Get one for Free" DVD sale.

So since I was returning a Christmas gift, I got 4 DVDs for the price of two.

Glad you had a pleasant day at Borders as well.

2. I noticed the DVD sale, but I didn't have any money left on the

gift card after I got the books.

I could spend hours and hours in a bookstore!

5. I was returning the "Family Guy" board game for something that I would actually appreciate.

And I saw they were having the DVD sale.

Long story short, I love how my Christian sister-in-law paid for my DVD of "TransAmerica".

3. i cashed in some gift cards myself last week

and was able to pick up:

Civilization: A New History of the Western World by Roger Osborne (from cavemen to the war on terror)
The End of Faith by Sam Harris
Secrets of Judas by James Robinson (conflicts heavily with the sam harris book i know)
Ali Rap by George Lois

and

The Big Lebowski DVD
The Simpsons Season 4
Kids In The Hall Season 1 (thanks to barnes and noble's buy one TV box set get the second one free deal)

It's not too easy to get up here obviously, so I'm going to have to order it; how was it?

10. I'm halfway through his first one, "Dreams From My Father", and

it's very good. It's basically an autobiography. He's a good writer. BTW, if you haven't, check your PM again.
