"Craven"
Up until about 3 weeks ago, I thought craven meant wantonly vicious or violent. The definition, according to Dictionary.com is "characterized by abject fear; cowardly."

This changes everything, especially how I plan to use the word in the future.

You got a good vocab word you can throw my way? Shoot....

3. It's also the surname of an OK horror director...
Who gets praised way too much for the original "Hills Have Eyes" and "Scream" and doesn't get half the recognition he should get for "The Serpent and the Rainbow"

6. Actually, I think that's why I has the definition mixed up
Because of Wes Craven. I didn't know he directed the original version of that. I thought his breakout film was Nightmare on Elm Street. Learn something every day.
