and the board read "Life is short, have an affair www.ashleymadison.com
Naturally, I'm sure this billboard will cause controversy, but if people are hell bent on having an affair, they don't need a billboard ad to tell them to do so....
Besides, saying a billboard ad will cause more affairs was like the Republicans blaming the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal for a rise in teen oral sex...

just out of morbid curiosity I signed up for an account... got a couple 35-45-ish women messaging me within the first week or so. :P
One of them was actually kinda hot... unfortunately I got her message right after I moved across the country. D'oh.
