Hey Jude

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Hey, Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.

And any time you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
Well don't you know that its a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder

<snip>

So let it out and let it in, hey, Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey, Jude,
You'll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Na na na na na na na na na na na, Hey Jude
Na na na na na na na na na na na, Hey Jude...

I just love that song.

1. Used to love that song, but I've grown tired of it.
Just heard it too many times on Oldies and Classic Rock radio, I guess.

OTOH, I still love the B-side, "Revolution."

2. That version of Revolution is the Loudest song about Apathy
ever recorded, according to John Lennon......I always preferred Revolution to Hey Jude, but that's me.

3. I think "Revolution" is the Beatles' best late-period song.

4. I was amazed when the worship group at our
church (Baptist based) started the service a couple weeks ago by leading us in singing Revolution. It was great and kind of surprising.

5. I'm na na na'd out
Back in the late 60s the kids in the other half of the duplex had a band and Hey Jude was the ONLY song they knew. And they practiced it endlessly. It's the one Beatles song I can't stand.

6. Do you know what "Hey Jude" is about?
It's about 3 minutes too long, that's what.
