A useless activity. Trying to grasp the "arguments" against gay marriage.

I've noticed that Topic "A" (or maybe it's Topic "B") on the news shows the past few days is the gay marriage issue, specifically in San Francisco. During these segments, some glassy eyed spokesperson from some organization with the word "family" in it trots out the same lines..."sancitity of marriage" "threatening the family", blah blah blah.

In an attempt to see this point of view, my brain ends up hurting. It's like forcing myself to understand that 2 + 2= 5 and the Earth revolves around the sun.

This is a pretty pointless activity, I must admit.

1. It is hard to twist your mind around the argument

Just fools trying to make others live in their twisted little worlds. To busy to worry about real issues like hunger, homelessness, lack of medical care, etc.

Since Gay marriage began in San Francisico, numerous heterosexual marriages have filed for divorce! Somewhere out there, a wife is being beaten, a child abused, a dog kicked...and we KNOW this would NEVER have happened if those darn Gay people didn't get married!!!

And they're recruiting too...just ask Gov. Rick Perry. :evilgrin:
