Home delivery of DONUTS would be a good idea
I'd really like an iced chocolate donut, or two, or three... but I suppose no one delivers those around here... dammit. I guess going to the store in my robe and slippers is out of the question. x(

:donut: Drown my sorrows in a cup of ZombyCoffee! :hangover:

8. I remember when
the local school kids used to sell Krispy Kreme donuts, door to door to raise money for school events. Every Saturday and Sunday morning you could count on some local school kid (usually raising money for some band trip) to show up at your door with fresh Krispy Kreme donuts.

They used to make a killing around colleges.

Don't know why schools don't still do this. Now, at least in my neighborhood, the school kids come by asking you to order some $50 designer chocolate cake (to be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks) or something like that.

my SO was talking last night about how he wished
there was a place that delivered donuts.
he was jonesing for one, but it was too late to venture out.

then he went on to say something rude,
about getting KrispyKremed.
neither one of us has had KK donuts, btw.

where's Kade-- if you be needin' something sweet. :-)

i've been saving a little bit of ZW coffee out of each cup you've given me
since you've become quite the slacker,
so here :hangover: :donut: :hangover:
i'm happy to share. :loveya:

11. hehehe
Great minds think alike! :D They don't have KK donuts in town, only at the grocery store. If you ever get a chance, get them from a KK place, when they are hot off the belt. There is no other way.

Kade is at work, and I finally have a day off... tax season is slowing down, but at least I am being kept on through April 15.

Thanks for picking up my slack! :loveya: :donut:

And a donut for your SO: :donut:

Never knew that. It probably tastes 10 times worse when you don't have a 7 foot tall Ronald McDonald watching over you. :-)

20. Imagine the delivery guy
It's bad enough if you have to advertise on top of your car that you deliver pizzas (nothing wrong with that I did it myself but without the thingy on my car) but advertising that you deliver for MickeyD's!!!

What's the matter pal couldn't qualify for a job INSIDE????

There is an Arby's here in Richmond where they have waitresses. Burger King tried that too but it didn't take either. People around here think that Arby's is an actual restaurant.......

19. Where I used to work, we had a "donut man" deliver the donuts
fresh daily. One morning we got to work and he was lying dead with the cardboard tray akimbo and donuts rolled all up under the truck and over the sidewalk. Someone asked "What does that tell you?" Sorry, I have a sick sense of humor. Hope no offense. We were sad to see him lying there, really.

21. But ya gotta get 'em right off the conveyer belt!
Donuts start to go south in about five minutes.

Best 'nuts in L.A.? Bob's Do-Nuts in the Farmer's Market.
