My Recipe For Velveeta Fudge
Butter ½ lbs. Powdered Sugar 2 lbs. Velveeta Cheese ½ lbs. cut into small hunks Vanilla 1 tsp. Cocoa ½ Cup Chopped Nuts ¾ Cup
Melt butter & cheese over low heat (double boiler) or microwave. In large bowl mix powdered sugar & cocoa together. Pour hot butter & cheese mixture over the sugar & cocoa mixture. Mix thoroughly. (I use a mixer becuse I like it creamy) Add vanilla & nuts. Press into a 9 x 13 pan. Put in refrigerator 15 minutes before cutting.
Recipe can be doubled. No cooking.

1. Velveeta Fudge? That is a rather unique combination. What's it like? |

2 lbs. of powdered sugar though! Can one use regular sugar? And how about substituting philadelphia cream cheese for velveeta? I only ask because I'm in my fridge and cabinets to see what ingrediates I happen to have...

You must use powdered sugar and Velveeta. Otherwise it won't be Velveeta Fudge.
Even substituting Generic Processed Cheese food and using margarine will negatively impact the final product. There must be Velveeta in the Velveeta Fudge. NO SUBSTITUTIONS.
There are cream cheese fudge recipes but why when you can have Velveeta?

I guess that means no caramelized onions either... :dunce:
Seriously, though, to get velveeta means I have to walk a mile in a blizzard to the nearest Safeway. And something tells me they're closed already. I guess I'll have to wait and try it out for New Years! Providing things have warmed up by then...
