and you post it by typing :rofl: with the little colons

4. When you go to post click on the 'Smilies lookup table'

when you're ready to insert the smilie. A pop-up window will open. Scroll down in the pop-up widow to where the lol gif is and click on it. It will show up in your post. If you're in doubt that it will show just preview your message before you post it.

Well, it sort of worked. I swear I didn't hit illegal codesmilie_remote, however.
Maybe I entered the smilie twice? Oh well.

10. Create your own account on Photobucket.com

I can tell you what to do if you have a Mac. If you have a PC you can right-click and copy the url and paste it into your post. I have a Mac so I upload gifs and emoticons into a Photobucket account. Go to http://photobucket.com/ and create your own account for free. Then you can google emoticons, or gifs and download them there after which you can copy and paste their url into your post.

I go to google and write either 'gifs' or 'emoticons' and download the ones I like onto my computer desktop and then upload them into my Photobucket account. You can do this by clicking on the gif and dragging it onto your desktop then clicking on upload in photobucket and picking the name of the gif.

You can also click on the gifs I have and drag them to your desktop and upload them into photobucket.

If you have a PC I think it's much simpler. Pick the url that starts with <http:ll>

you're welcome to use mine if you like. Over time I've accumulated a lot of gifs and I use them as often as I can.
