about 10 miles up the road from Asbury Park (but no Bruce sightings so far :( )

Off to NYC tomorrow through next Monday!

back in NYC as of about an hour ago? Guess what Mom and Republican Stepdad are watching??? (hint: Opening Day)

edit: still waiting for that elusive Soleft sighting... last time we were actually in Ocean Grove, but I didn't feel like asking a bunch of strangers if they knew someone who used the online name "soleft". :-)

7. We had a big fire last month
The Manchester Inn and 6 homes near the tabernacle destroyed in around an hour. High winds.

3. lived there in 1970-71
Plenty has changed since I lived there. We ran a gas station in the center of the city near city hall. I did a Google street view the other day and the gas station is long gone. I see that there are lots of condos near the ocean. I guess if I had never left I couldn't afford to live there now.
