My pre-tween hums Rhianna songs

This bothered Mrs Taverner, until I pointed out that she also hums Lady Gaga tunes.

Now I'm sure both ladies have nice singing voices, and they probably hire great people to write their music - so I don't really have a problem.

As for the lyrics, Lady Gaga does a great job of appearing risque while singing lyrics that are fairly tame, sex wise.

Even her Religious video, which was feared by the Vatican until they saw it. After that, they were scratching their heads.

But back to the main issue - the tot is HUMMING, not singing. I have never known an evil melody, nor a pernicious harmony. They just are.

As for lyrics, well I remember being a 9 year old singing along the songs from Grease, without a clue what they meant.
