Some friends hooked it up today and we played 2 games of bowling and I did a little tennis. I actually broke out in a bit of a sweat! I can see that if I just try and play some of the games, like tennis, regularly I will get a bit of exercise which is good since I have become so sedentary. I walk my dogs around the block but that is about it.
The only problem is I have arthritis and twisted up joints, (rotator cuff thing now)and I literally was in a lot of pain after doing those repetitive motions with the bowling ball. I used the tens unit after and and going to continue to do the exercises for those particular problems.
Wanted to share this in case anyone is in the same couch potato situation. The Wii thing is kind of cool. I did not get the exercise one because I hate to exercise.
Getting old is not for sissies.
