Chris Matthews praised Dean and his supporters.

On today's NBC broadcast-channel, "The Chris Matthhews Show," Matthews said he admires Dean and his supporters because Dean is a maverick in the tradition of the Founding Fathers, Martin Luther King, etc., and Dean expressed his opposition to the Iraq War even when the Iraq War was popular.

I thought, "then why did you play the Dean-post-Iowa 'yaaaah' hundreds of times in the week between Iowa and New Hampshire?"

A newscaster who takes things out-of-context to make Dean look bad isn't the kind of admirer Dean needs.

He speaks with one voice when he interviews Democrats, and in the next segment, has a group of Republicans, including his girlfriend Peggy Noonan trash everything the Democrats do
