In capitalism, banks and the most powerful elements of industrial capital (large corporations, owners of resources) are also the state. They exercise power. They set up corporate-government complexes combining their private organizations with government agencies in symbioses. Contractors and agencies are extensions of each other. There is a banking-treasury complex, a military-industrial complex, a media-politics complex, a law enforcement-prison-drug war complex...

Those who think they can control the world's money supply are just as ignorant and evil as any central government that believes it can centrally plan production and set prices more effectively than a free market.
