Watch the miniseries, "Path to 9/11." There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding this show.
Research the U.S. government's response to the terrorist threats dramatized in "The Path to 9/11." Report on the efforts of key Clinton administration officials, including the president, to either address this issue or to downplay its importance. Investigate and report on the response of the leadership in the House of Representative and the Senate to the threat that fundamentalist terrorist groups and Bin Laden in particular Investigate and report what steps the Bush administration took before 9/11/2001 to prevent a terrorist attack on the United States.

As part of your research, develop a profile of those most responsible for the development of "Path to 9/11." For example, who wrote the script. What is that person's background? Who directed the mini-series? What affiliations does this person have? Who are the producers? What is their background. What else have they produced? Does any pattern emerge from your profiles of key individuals that suggests that the purpose for "Path to 9/11" might be more than entertainment?

From your research, determine if critics of "The Path to 9/11" are accurate in their characterization of the mini-series as propaganda. If you agree with them, then support your position.
