Ted Kennedy says Bush must come to Congress to ask for more troops..
in Iraq?

My question is: Did he come to Congress before he bombed the hell out of Somalia?? Or is that jsut part of his "war on terror"?

1. Great question, kentuck. I somehow doubt he asked anyone. nt

2. I want to know about Somalia too.
Over stretched troop levels and he bombs another country. I have a sinking feeling about it, like who's next. There is a madman running our country and he's out of control.

3. I hope Congress tells Bush NO. In fact, HELL NO!
No more money.

No more dead troops.

No more lies and intentional misinformation.

It's past time to hold George Bush, his misAdministration, and the GOP responsible for their actions.

And, I might add: THIS IS NOT AN OPTION. IT IS A REQUIREMENT. Congress cannot pick and choose what it does: oversight is mandatory.

4. Unless he moves them from Afghanistan and other places
which seems to be a part of his strategery. Not sure of Bush's ability to move around funding designated for one arena to another, but he did it before when he moved funding from Afghanistan to Iraq. He got away with it and I can see the WH using it as precedent. Damned Cons simply followed along like zombies for the last six years!
