7 out of 10 Americans would withdraw troops within 1 year

Knowledge Networks, a independent research institution who found in a 2003 poll that 75% of Americans supported the Iraq war, now has found that 7 out of 10 Americans want the withdrawal of U.S. forces in Iraq by early 2008.

The poll was conducted for PIPA (Program on International Policy Attitudes) based on the University of Maryland.
