Can the "Clinton Nostalgia" overcome the Bush "Revulsion."

Who knows..?

Stay Tuned to CNN and MSNBC for the "NEXT UPDATE!" :eyes:

I can't believe we are being asked to vote for Bill Clinton once again.....Sheesh..!

1. what do you expect. Murdock held fund raisers for her in New York
I have very little faith that the other candidates will have a chance because the MSM will only focus on her, and minimize the others

2008 may be the year I leave the Democratic party

2. You would think most
Americans will have that in mind. But the right wing will be hoping Americans will be thinking of Monica, but I have the feeling most Americans will think about the 8 years of Bill as the 8 years of great PEACE AND PRSOPERITY....and know this and will maybe listen to what HRC has to say...and realize this woman knows her stuff....This no around there will be no "i could have a beer with that man" and in Rommey's case a pretty face. This go around it will be whomevr comes across with Amercia first and foremost and how to protect the country....HRC, made her stand earlier this week when she came out against the troop build up and then was negative about the Iraq leader and what was lost but many folks caught it...Sending the troops over to Afghanistan and win that.....

17. I agree, tired of these so-called media magnets
Clinton gave us NAFTA, the breakdown of the fairness doctrine, was for the line item veto, pushed for media consolidation, but most of all because of his sexual misdeeds, provided an opportunity for the repukes to take over

5. Caught a snip of pundits spinning today.....
Well, it was MSNBC Hillary Day, which she deserved! Anyhoo, the buzz seems to be that her campaign does not want Bill on the stump with her....fear of upstaging?

I found that disturbing. Anyone else hear this, and do we want a candidate that has a fear of being "upstaged" by his or her spouse?

8. For the most part, she doesn't really need Bill right now..
to appear with her at political functions. I'm sure she'll know when
the timing is right for them to appear together. Her focus has to be
on the People. The public is so hungry for recognition by their legislators.

She needs to address bedrock issues ingrain them in people's minds.
Be flexible, asking people are there any issues they would like her to address?
Supply a contact e-mail site.

7. Bill Clinton presided over a MUCH different country....
WHOEVER becomes the next president will have a clean up a shitload of a mess! Not to mention face difficult global circumstances that are vastly different from those in the 1990s.

The notion that we can "bring back the Clinton years" by electing Hillary to the presidency is a substanceless, deceptively-conceived pie-in-the-sky pipe dream, solely spun to grease the wheels of the so-called Clinton Machine. It utilizes virtually none of her actual record to persuade people.

10. I think Americans for the most part
will be THRILLED to have the chance to vote for the Clintons.

Regardless of the hate-fest here at DU, he left office with a 70% approval rating and is adored across the globe.

22. I guess they could be Prez and mr of
the SOS...?? I do NOT want to see them in the WH again..it's time for a new face...she needs to stay in the state she adopted, to become Senator...she just ran to be re elected to the Senate from NY, she owes it to those who voted her back into that seat, to stay where she is...imo...I figure she knew all along she was going to run for Prez, and she wasn't honest with her NY constituents when they asked what her intentions were...again jmo...sorry, not thrilled with either Clinton...personal opinion only
