Maher on Kerry
"It's nine months before the election and Bush's poll numbers have fallen to the exact level
that his father's poll numbers were nine months before he lost to Bill Clinton. Today John Kerry
said he's not superstitious, but just to be on the safe side, he's going to start fucking everything that moves."

2. The intern story has Rove written all over it
but it occurred to me that because the job situation is so bad many people in the middle (not the fundies and not the hard core Republicans) will ignore it if it means that Kerry can bring the economy back.

10. Links to graphics
You can acquire a link to any graphic on a web page by right-clicking on it and selecting "properties." Among the information displayed is the URL, which you can highlight and copy. (Assumes Windows operating system, don't know how to do this on a Mac.)

4. Hmmm - did you know that Maher has a "blog" now? - yup yup !
.
.

Here's an excerpt from Bill's Blog today:

According to ABC News, U.S. troops stationed in Iraq are receiving the usual Care Packages from home. You know, clean socks, chewing gum, smokesarmor chest plates to keep them from getting killed. Due to still-unexplained shortages of critical materials and equipment, some U.S. military families and parents are forced to spend thousands of dollars of their own money to purchase essentials for their enlisted sons and daughters serving in Iraq.

Other troops, including the Presidents beloved reservists, are bringing their own goggles, backpacks, and gloves when they travel to Iraq to fight the people who hate us because were free or whatever.

Now, I can see the Bush administration screwing these kids out of essential supplies if they were just schoolchildren, but these are our troops were talking about here.

Is it too much to ask to send them into harms way with decent safety equipment?

Or should we just start calling them the Coalition of the Naked?

 - gotta luv this Bill guy ! . . :bounce:

12. He should be worried
In 1992 Clinton ended up with 43 percent of the vote. Nader will not be pulling support from Bush the way that Perot did.

There is no one out there this time to give Kerry an assist.
