Poll question: Edwards vs. Kerry (my former candidate was...)
Assume Sharpton and Kucinich drop out and you have to pick either Kerry or Edwards. And of course you don't have to pick either and so don't have to vote here, but feel free to add comment such as "DEAN OR DIE".

I support (Kerry or Edwards) but was for...

33. Since Summer Of 2002
It was right around the time that Time put out their "Green Century" issue. I had been tentatively shopping around, but this put me squarely in his camp (or whatever you'd call it back then).

As you might be able to tell, I love to research the hell out of things that interest me, and the more I learned about Kerry the more impressed I became. I have to admit that the IWR vote seriously shook me, but I came to realize that he would have, by far, the best foreign policy of any of the candidates (believe me, I looked).

Not to mention a progressive rating from Public Citizen and LCV to go gaga over.

Here's that original article:

3. Aww come on now we know Dennis will not be dropping out.
Why marginalize the last remaining grass roots candidate?

If you liked Dean you'll like Kucinich too.

Go see for yourself:

9. I'm neutral at this point
I will support whoever gets the nomination. I don't feel any passion for either of the remaining candidates, and I honestly don't know which one would be more effective in taking on Bush. Each one has certain strengths and certain weaknesses.

I think that I will just sit it out and let the media and the party machine finish their job of picking the candidate for me. I am currently feeling very disempowered by this whole business.

Went from Dean (bc I thought he had a great charisma, but that end the end bit him in the butt), to Kerry.

Kerry will not get my vote until November, although I will work for him if he's nominated. until then, my #1 task is seeing that Kerry does NOT get our party's nomination.

I am leaning towards voting for Kerry and I was previously for Senator Bob Graham. Since he dropped out I have been looking at all of the candidates and was enamored with General Clark, until he also dropped out.

I really liked most of the candidates. If I knew Sharpton or Kucinich could win, they'd have my vote in a heartbeat. But I want bush gone. So, really, either candidate would be AOK with me.

48. I'm Kerry from Dean, but reluctantly
As Kerry is the only candidate left that meets my criteria for who I will consider to be Presidential material. He will be the beneficiary of my anti-Bush vote.

If I campaign for him, it will be handing out clothespins with Vote Kerry signs attached while I wear my Dean buttons.
