Ironic, when we remember Dean's request for pledge of support

During the debate before the Iowa caucus, Dean asked for a show of hands for supporting the final nominee. At that time he was considered the front runner and was a bit cocky.

So now, of course, he has to support the winner, even while gritting his teeth.

It wasn't a ploy to gain the others' support, it was a pledge to support the final nominee. I haven't heard him express one iota of complaint about having to support another candidate now and he's gone out of his way to encourage his supporters to vote for the Dem candidate in November.

I think Dean is quite serious about removing Bush from the White house in November. I believe you will see him follow up with some action now.

Dean seems to want what is best for our country. He says he is going to continue to work toward making a difference. He bowed out gracefully when he saw that this wasn't his year. The man has class.

I feel he is genuine in supporting the winner. Because the Dem winner is better for our country than Bush is.

Dean has made a name for himself and will continue to have influence and supporters because of it. I look forward to his opinions in the future; I consider him a visionary.

10. You are mistaken

At an earlier forum, in NH, I think, it was the moderator, Ted Koeppel, who suggested this. In Iowa it was Dean who "took" precious time to raise this. And, no, I do not have problems with this. I have always supported the Democratic nominee even if I knew that it was a losing ticket. However there have been many Dean supporters who said, again and again, that if Dean were not the nominee they would support anyone but Kerry, or Edwards.

Dean is a very smart man who knows what's at stake and will do everything he can to help the Dem nominee.

Dean is an adult, and as such is not throwing a temper tantrum like a four year old.
