Are there any other Democrats who can inspire people like Dean does?
In the aftermath of Dean's withdrawal, I'm wondering if people think that there's anyone else who compares to Dean in a standing up for what's right, Truman-esque style.

3. There has to be.
I thought the same thing after Wellstone died. Then Dean came along. Certainly there's someone else, right? I don't know who, but it wasn't more than a year ago that I didn't know who Dean was.

I guess the point is to keep on searching. Dean was Governor of a small state for 12 freakin' years and I didn't know anything about him until he ran for Presidency. He didn't anticipate on leading me or anyone else outside of VT when he first started in politics and look at far he has come since then.

4. Dennis Kucinich...been standing up for things for awhile now
from the Kucinich campaign tonite...

I want to congratulate Gov. Dean on his campaign, his energy, his integrity, and his courage.

I am proud that Gov. Dean stands with me on so many issues: the urgency of bringing our troops home from Iraq, the critical need to provide health care to all our citizens, jobs, education, and hope for a better future. Together, we stand beneath that progressive banner, and, whatever role he chooses to play in the continuing dialogue, I intend to keep those dreams alive in my campaign.

To his supporters, I would say this: "If you love Howard Dean, you'll love Dennis Kucinich, too." If you are in touch with Dean supporters, please share this message with them.

We embrace and echo Gov. Dean's challenge to continue working for change in the Democratic Party and to take back the government of this nation so that it works for the benefit of its citizens, not its self-serving special interests and entrenched political power structure.

His grassroots supporters, like ours, represent a remarkable diversity of ages, races, and creeds - all united in the belief that government must change, and CAN change, if we commit ourselves, heart and soul, to that effort.

We must not abandon that vision, but rather, take it to the streets, to the meeting places, to the ballot boxes, and then on to the convention this summer where our vision can become the rebirth and renewal of the Democratic Party. I look forward to talking with Gov. Dean about the future of our Party.

Dennis Kucinich

Peace & HOPE

6. Anyone who sees Dennis is inspired. That's why we're all still here.
Kucinich supporters are loyal and we'll be in there until he becomes President.

7. Russ Feingold.
He was the only one who stood against the Patriot Act.

8. Feingold was the only one in the Senate, but in the House there were ....
67 congressmen and women who voted NO on the Patriot Act. That included Kucinich who played a major role in getting those votes together under a tight time-frame. I am happy to say that included a majority of the ones from my state.

9. I respect Dean
but the only candidate that made me feel inspired was Clark. He is the only one since Gary Hart in '84, my first election, that I have gotten really excited by. And he turned out to be much more inspiring to me than Gary Hart was.

I really feel for all you Dean people though, I guess we're all just different in who we get inspired by.
