Here I am sleepless in the middle of the night, so not thinking too straight--how do I make one of these my avatar?

7. How to make these your avatar:

Right-click on the avatar of your choice. Choose "save image as" and save it to your hard drive. I would take both because you may not be able to get the larger one to upload (not actually larger in size just in kbs), although some people have by trying a couple of times.

Then go to your options here on DU like you normally would to choose an avatar. This time though you choose to upload your own. In the window that pops up, you will see "browse". Click that and it will open a window to your hard drive. Pick the avatar gif file from where you saved it and upload. If it won't work because it's too large, you can try again or try the smaller version.

Clark was my #2, with Dean/Clark my dream ticket. Gawd am I out of touch or what? :eyes:

I don't know if numbness is my eventual goal--I just wish there were some way for me to transfer the passion I felt for Dean to the eventual nominee. I just don't see it happening, and that makes me very sad.

But I'm so glad that I still get to vote for Dean in the NY primary and (if my new job goes well) will be contributing to whatever organization he devises for implementing change in Washington. The fight's not over!

We still need that from him, no matter what. I have zero faith in pink tutus (as Kerry was then, if not now) willingness or ability to withstand the fire and sleaze from the Right and not wilt.
